WHO started it all?
Founding pastor, Blair Ritchey and his wife Jeannine. It is currently led by Dwight Nash.
WHAT were they thinking?
The initial group desired to plant a new church that would be committed to reaching out to their community while providing relevant application of God's word to people’s daily lives—not contribute to their already stressed-out existence.
WHEN did the church open its doors?
In September 1985. The church began in a Holiday Inn and now it has grown into a vital community of faith in the North Dallas suburban area.
WHERE did the church first take root?
After the first 18 months in a Holiday Inn in East Plano, a young nucleus of a church moved to a 10,000 square foot leased facility on Park Blvd. In 1992 the church moved to its current campus on Spring Creek Pkwy. After several additions and the construction of a new Family Life Center in 2003, Collin Creek Community Church continues to figure out new ways to leave God's Loveprint on our community.
WHY do we do what we do?
We like to say that what we do is to throw LifeLines to people. People matter to God. We strive to meet them in a comfortable environment, with messages that deal with everyday challenges, hopes and heartbreaks. In addition we desire to love and serve our community with God's love by leaving a Loveprint here and around the world.
