Throwing LifeLines to help people grow in a relationship with Jesus by reaching: UP to God, IN to others and OUT to the world.

Values (Why are we doing it?)

For every missionary at Collin Creek Community Church, we are reaching:

UP – Developing And Maintaining A White-Hot Faith

Develops lifestyle of worship- We are a community that values the worship of Christ that is authentic, passionate, creative, relevant, and done with excellence worthy of our great God. (Matthew 22:36-37; 1 Chronicles 16:23-36)

Looks like Jesus- We are a community that believes every Christ follower must be committed to the pursuit of Christlikeness, marked by growth in character, community and calling. We become like that which we worship! (Romans 8:29; Ephesians 4:13)

Listens and obeys- We are a community that believes studying and applying God’s word, prayer and other spiritual disciplines are essential to hear from God and they are our key connection to the power of God to accomplish the purposes of God in our world. Having heard his voice, it is important that we not only hear but obey. (Romans 2:13; James 1:22-25; John 15:1-10; Luke 5:16)

Manages God’s stuff- We are a community that believes everything that we have is His. We manage our resources, families, gifts, and time in a way that honors Jesus and points to Him. (Luke 16:10-13; Psalm 50:9-12)

IN – We Grow Best In Community

Has transparent relationships- We are a community that values doing life and ministry in relationships and teams. We don’t do life alone and we don’t do ministry alone. We know and are known by others. (Acts 2:42-47; John 13:34-35; Ecclesiastes 4:9-12)

Reproduces themselves- We are a community that values servanthood, exercising our gifts in ministry to God, one another and the world. We intentionally apprentice disciples and leaders for the mission. (Romans 12:4-8; Ephesians 4:15-16; 2 Timothy 2:2)

OUT – Serve, Give And Show Compassion

Serves our world through word & deed- We are a community that believes that people of all nations, races, ages, life stages and spiritual conditions matter to God and deserved to be loved – and reaching them for Christ is our mission. We are “Sent Ones” (Matthew 28:18-20; John 20:21; Matthew 20:25-28; Matthew 9:36; Psalm 82:3-4)

Gives generously to Kingdom priorities- We are a community that makes choices regarding how we invest our time and money. We choose to invest in things that last and make an eternal difference: People and God’s mission. (Luke 12:13-21; James 2:14-17; 2 Corinthians 9:6-15)
